A: Yes, a lot of the information in your author bio will be repeated from your resume, but they are different. The bio should be narrative (rather than just a list of your accomplishments) and should highlight your writing experience. It doesn't have to be long--most are just a page or two--but you should use it as an opportunity to sell yourself and your work.
